Harnessing the power of AWS

We harness the power of Amazon Web Services to provide every customer with a software solution that specifically matches their process and requirements. The level of customisation covers all aspects including storage, workflow, functionality, access and integration.

By aligning our Flight platform to AWS, we take advantage of the most advanced and secure cloud computing infrastructure in the world.

AWS is fully scalable meaning expensive hardware upgrades will never be a consideration.  It also means Flight can leverage the extensive and continually enhanced cloud computing services offered by AWS.

Flight is a highly flexible, robust, future-proof solution for any business.

Our 4 step process

We keep this as simple as possible. We do all the heavy lifting:

  1. Business Analysis – We meet with you to understand your business, producing a process map and completing your Flight specification sheet to ensure your configuration is perfect for your business.
  2. Configure – With your specification sheet, we set about configuring the system; giving you access to a test application to trial.
  3. Launch – Once you’ve tested and signed off your configuration, we migrate your historic data and launch your new Project Management Software. This will be unique to you and your business.
  4. Support – Our dedicated customer service team are on hand to support you. Whether it’s tutorials or requests for additional functionality. Continue to make changes at no extra cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is bespoke stock control software, and how is it different from generic inventory tools?

Bespoke stock control software is built around your specific stock types, suppliers, and order-to-delivery process, rather than a generic inventory template you adapt your operations to fit. Flight configures stock tracking, forecasting, and resource planning around how your business actually manages stock, not a one-size-fits-all structure.

Q. Does Flight combine finance and stock management in one system?

Yes. Flight connects finance and stock management directly: stock movements, valuations, and resource allocation flow through to your accounting integration (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage), so financial reporting and stock visibility stay aligned without manual reconciliation.

Q. Can we transfer our existing data into Flight?

Yes. Blue Wren supports data migration into Flight, so your existing records, stock data, and operational history can be transferred into the new system. You don’t need to start from scratch. The migration process is scoped and managed by the Blue Wren team as part of the implementation.

Q. Where is our data stored?

All Flight data is hosted on AWS infrastructure, with servers located in London and Ireland. This ensures your data supports your compliance obligations under UK GDPR. Each Flight installation has its own dedicated database and server environment, so your data is never shared with other clients.

Q. Is Flight GDPR compliant for stock and resource data?

Yes. Flight is built to comply with UK GDPR requirements. Every Flight customer receives a comprehensive Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) as standard, and user access is controlled through granular permission settings. Data is processed and stored in secure, monitored AWS environments, with encrypted data transmission and role-based access controls built in from the start.
